Description: Little Jane - Offered in the upcoming BelleauWood Select Alpaca Auction, December 1st, in Charlotte NC. What a looker! Well balanced, elegant, and perfectly proportioned. Her conformation is flawless, as is her bite. Jane's fiber is exceptional - a brilliant garnet colored high frequency fleece with a 17.4 micron, it is uniform with outstanding character and very fine.

Jane is the first daughter of Poplar Hill Alpacas champion herdsire, Silver Grand Marquis, son of full Peruvian import, Silver Cesario. As of the last count, Silver Grand Marquis has 4 blue ribbons, 1 Judge's Choice banner and 2 High Score ribbons for his outstanding fleece. To date all of his crias are dark, and like Jane, strikingly beautiful.

Jane sells with her maiden breeding to our full Peruvian Multi Champion Black Herdsire, Alejandro. These championship black and grey bloodlines will certainly increase your chances of "criating" show quality offspring.

Wow!The only word to truly describe Marquis. He's taken top ribbons at every show he's been entered. That would be good enough to consider him for a great herdsire, but Marquis is toting a 19 micron in all that fabulous rose grey fiber; now we're really talkin'! He's got a lot of pizazz and tiny bundled fiber finer than most whites. The potential for full Peruvian silver, rose grey, maroon and black are running strong in these genes and to date Marquis has produced all colored females - including a true black out of a white dam.

To create champions you need to select a worthy sire to breed to your own girls -- and this grand macho is the one to put any alpaca breeding program into showring orbit. These are the bloodlines to have on your farm if you're breeding for black and grey, and worthy of taking the ribbons at any show.
